LA ASAMBLEA DE PROEXPORT APRECIA UNA RECUPERACIÓN DE LA RENTABILIDAD DE LAS PRODUCCIONES HORTOFRUTÍCOLAS

PROEXPORT aprecia una recuperación de la rentabilidad de las producciones hortofrutícolas, que ha supuesto un aumento del 18% en el valor exportado por las frutas y hortalizas murcianas en 2012, según la evaluación realizada por el conjunto de empresas asociadas en su Asamblea General. “Todo apunta a que esta campaña recuperaremos la rentabilidad en nuestras producciones, debido a la estabilización del consumo en Europa”, ha señalado el presidente de PROEXPORT, Juan Marín Bravo. El consejero de Agricultura y Agua, Antonio Cerdá, ha clausurado el acto destacando estas cifras y señalando que la apuesta por la investigación y el control de los contingentes de entrada de frutas y hortalizas en la reforma de la PAC 2014-2020 debe ser ineludible. En cuanto a las exportaciones de frutas y hortalizas, la Región de Murcia ha alcanzando los 1.807 millones de euros, situando 2.169.415 toneladas de productos hortofrutícolas fuera de nuestras fronteras, un 11,4% más en volumen que el año anterior. Para PROEXPORT, estas cifras sitúan a la exportación de frutas y hortalizas como verdadero motor de mantenimiento de la economía regional. PAC y relaciones con la distribución Por otro lado, y en el marco de la Asamblea de PROEXPORT, la subdirectora general de Frutas y Hortalizas del MAGRAMA, María José Hernández, ha asegurado que “la reforma de la PAC no representa cambios para las Organizaciones de Productores”. Por su parte, el director de ACES (director general de la Asociación de Cadenas Españolas de Supermercados), Aurelio del Pino, ha señalado que la producción hortofrutícola más estructurada ha logrado, gracias a su colaboración con la distribución, una apertura de los mercados internacionales.
